Blog

Greetings,

Here in Northern Alabama, it is a chilly 42 degrees F and rainy, which makes staying inside and working on my art even more enjoyable.

I have two announcements for November:

1) I have a new job!  I work part-time at the Carnegie Visual Arts Center, Decatur, Alabama, as a docent.  I love the concept of restoring an old 1904 public library for the visual arts.  It is a gorgeous old building and the art displayed there is wonderful.  Please stop by to see it if you are ever in the area.  The art exhibits change every 6-8 weeks.

2) Just in time for the holidays, all my web site artwork prices are reduced!

What's on the easel?  I am working on five new oil paintings as part of my Push Back protest art series.  Can't wait to finish the series.  You can see the art in process on my instagram account. Also, I am working on my digital art sandhill crane entry that has a November 28th deadline and finishing my fall semester of university classes over the next two weeks.  Then it is family time!

Hope your Holidays are full of love and family time too!

Keep Creating,

L.C.
